Ryan Phillippe likes the man his ex wife is dating - Jake Gyllenhaal.

Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon divorced in October of 2007 and share custody of two kids - Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4.  Ryan appeared on The Howard Stern Show on March 20 and he was questioned about various romantic hook-ups with Hollywood starlets and asked how he feels about Reese dating Jake Gyllenhaal.

The 33-year-old actor talked about the breakdown of his marriage, revealing that the separation was mutal and "leading up to it, we had been spending so much time apart.  That's a huge part of it.  There are so many obstacles."

Ryan said about his ex wife's romance with Jake:  "He's a good dude.  I love her and I want her to be happy, and it seems like she is."

It's nice when ex spouse's can put their differences aside and get along for the kids, even when they start dating others.

Phillippe denied rumored reports of his hook-ups with Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and Jennifer Love-Hewitt.
