Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have been a couple since 2006 and gave birth to their daughter Nahla on March 16 of this year.  So how did one of the best looking celebrity couples meet? 

Donatella Versace - well known designer - is sorta responsible for the two getting together.  She tells PEOPLE:

"Of course, I was at the [photo] shoot when they met.  I know him [Gabriel - a model] very well.  I pushed a little bit.  I said, 'Why don't you go out together.'  I said it in front of them.  It went well at the shoot."

The photo shoot was in November of '05 - an ad for Versace - and that's where Halle and Gabriel first met.  Donatella continues:  "It was a moment when both of them were single.  And they are both such nice people."

Although Versace hasn't actually met their infant yet she believes little Nahla is "fantastic looking."

"I cannot imagine a better looking baby than this one."

She's probably right!  Can't wait to see photos of Nahla!
