Every new mom deserves to be spoiled right? Marc Anthony thinks so! He and Jennifer Lopez welcomed their twins, Max and Emme on February 22 and just a few days ago, unveiled them to the world via People magazine - for a price of course. A whopping $6 million! Marc decided to splurge (using some of that baby money I guess) on his wife and now mother to his children, and purchased the popsinger a $300,000 eight carat canary dimaond ring. Very practical when looking after twin infants.
A source told New York Daily News that Jennifer wasn't quite expecting such a "generous gift, but Marc wanted to give her something to remember the day by." I would think Max and Emme would remind her, um, of that special day?
It's sweet and all that Marc wants to shower his wife with nice things but when celebs are given such a huge amount of money, wouldn't it seem less pretentious of them to at least donate some of that cash? Anthony reportedly owed $2.5 million in back taxes last year, so maybe he had to pay that off too?
Celebrities are just like us, except richer right? Right.
