It's true, little Harlow can talk! Well, according to Nicole's mom Brenda Richie, who, as grandma, might be biased.
Harlow Winter Kate - daughter of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden - is just three months old, but according to grandma, she's already saying her first words.
Brenda Richie told Usmagazine.com: "The other day I was holding her, and Harlow said, 'Hi!' "I said, 'Nicole, did you hear that?'
"Nicole said, 'I don't think she knew what she was saying!'"
That did actually happen to my husband and I when our third son was 3-months-old, we too, were positive he said, 'I don't know.' It was probably gas - but still cute nonetheless.
Brenda continues: "Nicole talks to Harlow constantly, and she tries to answer back!" Not only is baby Harlow chatty, she's trying to crawl, according to grandma.
Nicole's mom says that she's (Nicole) very protective. "I'm lucky if I get to [see] the baby. She loves being with that baby! [Harlow's] bathing time has to be right on schedule!
"I was strict with Nicole, and she fought all of it. Now here she is, being the same way I was [with her] - it's great to see!"
I'm guessing Brenda Richie is a very proud grandmother.
