Kate Winslet and her son Joe were recently spotted riding a bike in New York City. Recently Kate's 7 year old daughter told her Mama she likes her cooking and Kate was impressed with the compliment:
Mia (her daughter, 7)said to me the
other day in the car, Mum, I really love your cooking, Kate says.
To me it was a sort of incredibly triumphant moment, the fact that she
observed that I do cook their meals.
She adds, Its great when the mum can be the person who represents
all of those nurturing things for her kids. My mum was certainly that
for me.
Lucky Kate! My kids think meals fall from the sky and clean laundry magically appears in their drawers. Come to think of it, so does my 39 year old "kid."
