Apparently, Marilyn Monroe made a sex tape. What's next, Rosemary Clooney? Bette Davis? I thought sex tapes were the domain of Paris Hilton and Pam Anderson, not iconic film stars of yore. And by all accounts, it's pretty raunchy: oral sex, hotel room, anonymous male partner. Marilyn, how could you? It was the fifties, dammit. Weren't they all supposed to be pure? (Okay, Marilyn, I know, but still.) Did my Grandma do this shiz, too? OMG.
Which got me thinking: how many celebrities have, in fact, made sex tapes? And how many of them were parents, or members of other social groups that are generally expected to behave themselves?
Let's restrict ourselves to the parenting cohort of the celebrity community. Because, you know, this is a family site:
1) Pam Anderson: Duh. But she made her sex tape(s) before she had kids. I think. So maybe she doesn't count. Except that she went a married a sex-tape producer, and would probably make another tape in a heartbeat, given the opportunity (just, please God, don't let it be with Criss Angel.)
2) Colin Farrell: again, I think he made his tape before he became a parent. Which means nothing, really, because I'd bet any money he'd - like Pammie - make another sex tape in a flash, right now, if he could. (Which he totally could, so... whaddya wanna bet he doesn't have other sex tapes floating around out there?)
3) Britney Spears: I'm just guessing on this one, but odds are good, doncha think?
4) Rob Lowe: ever since his sex tape - with underage girls - surfaced a gajillion years ago, my husband has referred to him as Raw Blow. Accordingly, it is difficult, in our household, for anyone to take seriously his complaints about sexploitative blackmail by former former employees.
5) Kelsey Grammer: Frasier taped himself doing it. Eww.
6) Victoria and David Beckham: no tape, YET. But they've released enough photographs of themselves bumping and grinding that really, all you need to do is put together a flip-pic book and you'll have your video right there.
7) Britney Spears: seriously, there's gotta be a video out there somewhere. And Adnan Ghalib is waiting for just the right moment to release it.
