What a day - lots going on for Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson! The engaged couple sparked pregnancy rumors a few days ago, then today, it was "confirmed," and now - not so much.
Although both UsWeekly and Ok! are reporting that Ashlee Simpson and fiance Pete Wentz are expecting their first child, The Fall Out Boy bassist is DENYING it.
Wentz tells MTV News:
"There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood," he wrote in an email. "This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. … I mean really, this is crazy. … I mean were engaged, that's true, and happy about it."
He was asked again if he was denying the reports that Ashlee is preggo and his answer:
"Yeah."
Yeah. If someone says "yeah," then that's the truth. I'm always under the theory of, it's the denial before the confirmation - so let's just wait a couple of days and I bet we'll get another confirmation. Ha.
I guess Jessica isn't going to be an auntie quite yet. Shucks.
