Is Madonna selling out her own child? I think she just might be - unknowingly.
Madonna has an 11-year-old daughter - Lourdes. And not too long ago, several website bloggers poked fun of Lourdes and her "evident facial hair." Perez Hilton was one of them, being particularly cruel, and at least one of his posts was taken down - although no one is sure why. So it seems interesting that Madge would send Perez a personal video message, I guess trying to say relevant, and, oh to make sure there's lots of publicity for her new album Hard Candy - nevermind the fact that your child was the butt of cruel remarks by Perez himself. Hey celebrities are fair game, their kids are not. Before you get all up in my grill, I've never made fun of any celeb kids - I did say once that Celine Dion's son has long hair, so long that it makes him look like a girl. My youngest son has super long hair and he too, can be mistaken for a girl sometimes. That wasn't mean - just a reality. I digress....
There is still at least one post about Lourdes on Perez and it's captioned, "If You Are Easily Offended," and after you click the link, it shows an airbrushed photo of Lourdes with hair removed from her upper lip and between her brows, saying, "If she celebrated Christmas, our gift to Madonna's gorgeous daughter, Lourdes, would be a visit to the waxer. Here's what she'd look like without the unibrow and lip hair!" Slip in the "gorgeous" part before you insult her, nice. Uh, she's 11 - a child - and most children don't go get "waxed." Perhaps Perez doesn't know that since he's not a parent - he just has a dog.
To be fair to Madonna, I doubt she reads Perez (although his inflated ego probably thinks she does), so she most likely doesn't know he insulted her kid. However, doesn't the Material Girl have people? People that would know that? Or maybe she doesn't care? She seems like a protective mama bear, so why kiss up to some blogger who said your kid is hairy and needs major hair removal?
Madonna reportedly fired a groundskeeper for invading her daughter's room, "Madonna once terminated one of her house groundskeepers immediately after she found out that he allowed someone to take photos of Lourdes' room."
I'm guessing if Madonna actually knew what Perez wrote about Lourdes, she wouldn't have made a video to him personally, full of sexual innuendo, with the talk of getting down on all fours and balls. She instead, might have made a video that said, "F**k you Perez." Now that would be enjoyable.
