Celebrity Dads Raising Money For Autism

Posted by Sassy Smith

I love this - celebrity dads (and some moms too!), who used their comedic talent to raise money for autism.  Who was there to help raise awareness?

Last Sunday night, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and Chris Rock joined funnymen forces and took to the stage at New York's Beacon Theatre for "A Night Of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert For Autism Education."

The show was hosted by Jon Stewart and was broadcast live on cable network Comedy Central and featured other talents, such as: Matthew Broderick, Susan Sarandon, Tina Fey, Sarah Silverman, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler and talk show icon Conan O'Brien.

Matthew Broderick said, "It's fun to be here.  I'm a fan of 94 per cent of the performers.  I'm always a little nervous.  I hope it goes well."

They did a show in 2006 and raised almost $ 3 million!

Keep up the good work!
