And we thought Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were an odd couple. Apparently Cher (yes, that Cher) reveals in an upcoming Oprah Winfrey show that she once had a fling with Cruise, shortly after the release of "Risky Business."
Cher tells Oprah the brief affair took place when she was 39 and the newbie actor was 23 and admits, "It could have been a great big romance because I was crazy about him."
I'm trying to picture in my mind what this relationship would be like if they had stayed together. Would Cher be a Scientolowife, hanging out with the Beckhams and tending to her and Tom's twelve children (eight of whom were actually fathered by L. Ron Hubbard.)
Then again, maybe Tom would be wearing assless chaps and dancing on an aircraft carrier.
