Remember when all the craziness started, back in 2005? Tom Cruise did an interview with Today Show host Matt Lauer and went off on his Scientology rant, berated people (namely Brooke Shields) for taking medications for Post-partum depression. Tommy told Matt that he "was glib, remember?" Well, the gloves are off - Matt wants a rematch.
Matt Lauer spoke with OK! magazine saying he wants to get Tom back on the show and reopen the PPD/drugs discussion again. Lauer says, "Tom is in talks with us right now to do another interview. Both of us realize we need to go back there and kind of just show that it's an episode from the past and move forward."
And what about Tom's wife Katie Holmes making an appearance? Matt says, "Perhaps, whatever the situation dictates."
Darn. I was hoping Matt and Tommy were going to get the boxing gloves out.
