Halle Berry, 41, gave birth to baby Nahla on March 16, 2008. Halle and fiance Gabriel Aubry are "beyond excited, and I've waited a long time for this moment in life," sent by email to Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell.
Jennifer Lopez, 38, welcomed twins Max and Emme on February 22, 2008. JLo says her twins "are fantastic!" Max and Emme are the 4th and 5th children of husband Marc Anthony.
Christina Aguilera gave birth to baby boy Max Liron on January 12, 2008 and he's been an inspiration to her in creating and writing new music. Xtina said, “I’m very excited, I’m so inspired. I’ve got so much to write about. This next record, I want to have a lot of fun with it. I’ve been brainstorming for the last months of my pregnancy.” His name means "our greatest song" in Latin and Hebrew. Quite fitting! Daddy is Jordan Bratman.
Nicole Richie gave birth to beautiful girl Harlow Winter Kate at the same hospital, same weekend as Christina Aguilera. Richie and fiance Joel Madden are quite smitten with their new daughter. Richie said to PEOPLE, "She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose."
Isla Fisher says motherhood has definitely changed her. "I think that all experiences definitely change your perspective on life, especially motherhood. You know, motherhood is my favorite topic in my personal life and I won’t shut up about it. But it’s not something I want to discuss publicly just because of the amount of attention it draws.” Isla and boyfriend Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) welcomed daughter Olive in October 2007.
Salma Hayek, 41, became a first time mom on September 21, 2007 to daughter Valentina. Hayek said, "Every night, I don't sleep, I watch her."
Naomi Watts became a mother at 39 to son Alexander in July of 2007. The actress said motherhood "Is everything everyone says it is and more. ‘‘There’s still so much to learn, I’m still figuring it out. It’s amazing how you can lose yourself in hours of doing absolutely nothing but staring, making funny faces and noises. I’m having a great time.’’
Toni Collette, actress, brought baby girl Sage Florence into the world on January 9, 2008. She told Australia's Herald Sun, "I really don't think I can articulate it - it's one of those experiences that you just have to go through to understand and I'd hate to lessen it by trying to pin it down with words."
Bridget Moynahan, welcomed son John Edward Thomas Moynahan (father is quarterback Tom Brady) on August 22, 2007. She's been fairly private about motherhood but did share photos of her precious boy in OK! magazine.
Keri Russell, gave birth to son River Russell in June of '07 and she said of being a new mom, "It is truly overwhelming all of the new things you feel being a parent for the first time. Those first smiles and laughs...they're everything."
