Former Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Slash, who is currently lead guitarist for Velvet Revolver, is by all accounts, a very smart dad. Why?
Slash was a proud owner of 80 snakes, which consisted of mostly deadly pythons and boas, and they lived with him at his home. He decided that perhaps he should get rid of them as they weren't the best pet for his first born son and had fears that one or more could escape and find it's way into his baby's nursery. Brilliant!
The rocker told Britain's Mojo magazine that he was "quite relieved" to let his pets go. "Feeding them all by myself had become a bit of a job. I missed the old days when it was just a matter of finding a couple of dead rats around the corner."
Smart thinking dad. See?
Slash has two sons, London Emilio and Cash Anthony with wife Perla Ferrar.
