It seemed like single mom Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson were a match made in Heaven - there were even engagement rumors flying around. However, all is not what it seems. The pair have broken up but don't feel bad for them! Kate is moving on fast with Lance Armstrong (Owen's good friend btw - awkward!) and Owen gets it on with a Kate look-a-like stripper. See, everything works out in the end!
Kate and Lance have reportedly been "quietly" dating for a few weeks (does this mean she was cheating on Owen?) and they spent last weekend getting very cozy in Austin, Texas, where Lance makes his home. They had a romantic evening at Eddie V's restaurant on Friday. A source who saw the pair said, "The restaurant is a favorite of Lance's. They had a great time!"
Saturday the new couple were out at Hula Hut and Lance brought along his kids - does this mean a blended family is in the works? Sounds semi-serious!
And don't feel bad for broken hearted Owen, who doesn't sound too broken hearted to me. Apparently Wilson nursed his wounds with a Kate look-a-like stripper on Thursday night. A source told Pagesix:
“He spent 41/2 hours at Rick’s Cabaret and was in an upbeat mood. He watched the Flyers game, drank beer, and when a parade of 75 half-naked girls caught his eye, he asked for dances from several and definitely had a preference for blondes. He tipped at least one with a $100 bill.”
A bit later, a chick who looked a lot like Hudson had some one on one time with Wilson in a VIP suite. The stripper herself said, "If he had any problems you'd never know it. He didn't seem upset in the least. People tell me I look like Kate, and it didn't bother him at all."
Aww, nice to know Owen's doing great. Strippers rule!
