Michael Hutchence's Sister Selling Memorabilia on eBay

Posted by Karen Sugarpants

Tina Hutchence has been using the name lilytigerlily on eBay as she tried to sell off some of his memorabilia on eBay.  One item was the handwritten lyrics to "Wild Life."

"Written on an 8-inch by 12-inch page in Michael Hutchence' scratchy handwriting, torn out of a notebook. It was among some papers Michael left in storage in Hong Kong and turned over to his family in 1999. The paper is slightly discoloured but in good condition," the item description reads.

Now before anyone goes on about her exploiting his 10 year old death, let's not forget that crappy show Rockstar INXS where the band tried to replace Hutchence, all the while collecting money for doing the show, which I always thought was a tacky idea.

Besides, I'm sure she is hanging on to his memory in other ways.  I'm just surprised she didn't go through an auction house - she would have fetched more money.

I think the whole idea of any money making on anyones part is pretty crappy.  All of Michael's personal belongings should be turned over to his daughter when she is of legal age.  Its a pitty, the power of the almighty dollar!
