Michelle Malkin Terrorizes Rachael Ray

I hate to give conservative gasbag idiot Michelle Malkin any more attention than she deserves, but this one takes the cake (or the glazed, whichever you prefer.)  Malkin, who appears to have way too much time on her hands and spends her days watching online ads for donut shops, has cased Dunkin' Donuts to remove one of their ads featuring Rachael Ray because Malkin says it promotes terrorism.

In the ad, spokesperson Ray is wearing a scarf that Michelle Malkin says resembled a kiffiyeh, Middle Eastern garb that is "popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos."

In the same column, Malkin also takes on actor Colin Farrell, rapper Kanye West and Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean, saying they have been photographed in similar scarves that were "distinctive hate couture."

Let it be noted that Malkin is vehemently opposed to immigration, is for racial profiling and says the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II was a good thing.

Malkin might want to spend a little less time obsessing over accessories worn by rappers and spokespeople for fast food, and more time teaching her kids not to hate.

Hate couture, indeed.  Michelle Malkin should know - she's swathed in it.

Good lord, stupid people are tedious. What's worse, she probably makes an obscene amount of money being this moronic.

I love Michelle Malkin.  Rachel Ray really should leave the San Fransisco garb at home

What a stupid argument.  It's a black and white scarf (cute, too) - end of story.

Where can I get one (a scarf that is)...I will never buy another Dunkin Donut...I'm boycotting them for pulling a

innocent add due to a idiotic argument made up by a right

wing conservative gas bag.

The right wing lunatic fringe is at it again...first not wearing a flag lapel pin made you anti-american and now wearing a scarf makes you a terrorist...what will they come up with next?

Rachel Ray leaves more personality in the toilet every morning than Michelle Malkin could ever hope to have.

And she looked cute in that scarf.

Whit, Malkin's OTHER beliefs aren't necessary to show how dumb this one was. The problem is that Dunkin Donuts was so easily convinced that a huge portion of the viewing public was going to be outraged by the scarf that they pulled the ad. Because (1) most people have no idea what the hell one of Yassar Arafat's headscarves looks like (2) they don't care (3) what Rachael Ray is wearing isn't even one. So their decision to pull the ad was moronic, knee-jerk, and sets a terrible precedent: "Oh no, the terrorists buy Nike shoes...Nike sponsors basketball, so we should all boycott the NBA".

In other news: dude, does most of your writing time go toward tagging these entries appropriately? That's a huge list.

I didn't, but I agree with it.  The part that isn't stupid that is.  Malkin is an idiot and Dunkin' Donuts deserves a good smack.  We should organize a boycott Dunkin' Donuts campaign (it would be good for health reasons, too).
