This is the week to be in Maui to see some of our favorite celebrity parents.
Felicity Huffman along a few other celebrity parents will be receiving awards at the Maui Film Festival. They will be able to catch a "green" screening at the outdoor SandDance. "For the first time, SandDance will be solar-powered, people will be watching films with energy captured during the day on
solar panels." says festival director Barry Rivers
Pierce Brosnan
The erstwhile James Bond goes musical with the
upcoming "Mamma Mia!" release. Brosnan received the Maui Film
Festival's Maverick Award.
Felicity Huffman
The "Desperate Housewives"
star screens her latest film, "Phoebe in Wonderland," in which she
plays an inspiring, unconventional drama teacher. Huffman received the
Nova Award.
Virginia Madsen
The actress shares the screen with Matthew Broderick and Alan Alda in "Diminished Capacity" this year. She received the festival's Navigator Award.
Dennis Quaid
The actor sees the release of three films this year: "The Express," "Smart People" and "The Vantage." Quaid received the Galaxy Award.

I'm so jealous, not because they have great careers or money to burn. I'm jealous because they are going to Maui. I love Maui. Have fun in Maui everybody, I'll stay here and burn in the desert. Yes,it's just like hell.
