Britney Spears - can't the woman catch a break? Her music career goes down the toilet - kinda. Her marriage breaks up, she goes a little crazy, she loses her kids and now this. Sure she's had a wee bit of success on the sitcom front, which is good, she's working out at Bally's a lot, dines and vacations with Mel Gibson and is slowly making her way back to having her boys on a more regular basis, and then boom, she's AXED! Not fair!
There was much hype about Brit having a cameo in the latest Pussycat Dolls' video "When I Grow Up," - she was apparently looking "hot and blonde," but now that is nothing more than a pipe dream. Her part was CANNED, AXED, NIXED, DELETED, LEFT ON THE CUTTING-ROOM FLOOR! The outrage!
Spears was practically starving herself to get ready for this vid and now, it's over. Why oh why even give her a bit part when it's only going to end up not happening? I don't get it.
I suppose Britney will have to learn to live with the peanuts ($700,000+) she earns a month.
A spokesperson for the girl group could not be reached for comment on the situation. And the group's members didn't mention why Brit was cut out, on the taping of FNMTV on Thursday night in Los Angeles.
