Tiger Woods just beat Rocco Mediate in a sudden death playoff to win the U.S. Open. Woods won on the 19th playoff hole at Torrey Pines to win his 14th major.
Woods was joined after his victory by wife Elin and daughter Sam Alexis who will celebrate her first birthday on Wednesday. This past Sunday was the first Father's Day for Woods, whose daughter was born last year the day after Father's Day. Woods credits his daughter with helping him to recover from arthroscopic surgery on his knee that had him out of the game for two months.
