I was going to title this post 'Jennifer Aniston Is A Crazy Jealous Beeyatch,' but I thought that might be too mean. Which is funny, kinda, because apparently Jen is totally mean. Like, mean girl mean. The kind of mean that involves getting perfectly nice people kicked off of photo shoots just because they're, like, happy and pretty and - worse! - married with kids and that shit is totally irritating to someone who is unhappy and unmarried and just, you know, bitter.
Jen reportedly had one of her He’s Just Not That Into You co-stars banned from a Marie Claire cover photo, apparently threatening to pull out of the shoot if this actress was included in the photo. So who was it? Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Ginnifer Goodwin or Scarlett Johansson?
Well, process of elimination - I did say that 'married with kids' might have been a factor - makes it obvious: Jennifer Connelly.
According to Defamer.com:
Though we suspect Johansson would have been the target of Aniston's
venom had she been free for the shoot, we're more than a little
surprised to hear Connelly received the wrath (and the boot) from the
other Jennifer. While Barrymore met her own boy toy Justin Long on set and Ginnifer's still dating Katie Holmes' leftovers,
these two are unmarried just like Aniston. Connelly's been married for
centuries in Hollywood time, and has kids to prove it. Which, of
course, makes perfect sense on second thought. If Aniston wasn't going
to "hit it off" with one of the movie's other leading ladies, it would
have to be the sole hitched actress. We suspect Connelly's ejection had
less to do with personality clashes than Aniston's desire to appear
like a Barrymore/Goodwin peer, all single and tan and carefree, rather
than part of the mature woman's yin to the young gal's yang.
The above is all speculation, of course, but it remains that Jennifer Connelly was excluded from the shoot. And the Defamer theory makes some sense. But I think that Jen's antipathy to Jennifer might have more to do with the fact that Connelly has certain traits in common with Aniston's arch-nemesis: she's a gorgeous, dark-haired mom in a happy marriage. Maybe Jen's, you know, just a little sensitive about those things?
Who knows. Either way, getting someone excluded from a cover shoot is pretty bitchy. Whaddup, Jen?
