Britney's Spears Dad Jamie has approached the court with a detail of the duties he has performed for his daughter since she was released from hospital following her very public ordeal with police and paramedics. But there's something fishy about the whole thing. Read on.
"After Britney was released from the hospital, I brought Britney home and secured her living and care situation," Spears said.
"Throughout
the time period, I ran errands, including buying groceries and cooking
supper on a daily basis. I talked frequently with Britney about her
health status...I arranged for Britney’s transport and security to go
shopping and so that she could teach a dance class."
“I visited with Britney’s children and their father, Mr. Federline,” he
stated. “I met and consulted attorneys. I also continued to consult
with and meet Britney’s doctors and care providers.”
Jamie also claims he is owed back pay on this work. He claims he is unable to work at his regular job as a chef because of having to take care of Britney.
I don't doubt that taking care of Britney is a full-time job. I also agree that one who takes on that job should be paid to do so.
I'm just not sure that Britney's parents are the ones for the job. There is a lot of speculation that both her parents as well as some of her 'handlers' over the years have taken advantage of her. I don't think she'll ever be able to trust like a normal person. It's pretty sad.
