Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's 5-year-old son James Wilkie has some serious questions for them - and I hope they have some serious answers for him!

SJP and Matthew are both smokers - although Matthew has given it up, he admits he falls off the wagon now and again and will light up.  Matthew says that their bad habit will probably rub off on their young son - "[He's] already curious."

Monkey see, monkey do - pretty simple concept!  Broderick adds, "I can just see the little budding gene of a smoker in here.  He'll see a cigarette butt and say, 'What is that?  Why do people smoke?'"

Matt says that Sarah is worse than he is, but admits he falls too, "I used to smoke cigarettes, and I still do, lately.  I gave that up a long time ago, but every now and then I will fall off for a week."

Chief medical officer with the American Lung Association, Norman H. Edelman says it's likely that James Wilkie will be a smoker.

"Children of smokers are much more likely to become smokers themselves."  Statistics show that more than 438,000 people die in the U.S. each year from smoking-related disease.

Okay, Sarah Jessica and Matthew - time to BUTT OUT!  Yes, I'm a non-smoker and I don't get the attraction.  I know it's an addiction but I suppose I'm too vain to even want to start - yellow teeth, smelly breath, hair and clothing just don't appeal to me.  Not to mention cancer.  Time to quit people!  Off my soapbox now.
