Either Denise Richards has a really crappy memory or she's a really big liar, or perhaps a bit of both.  The actress, turned reality TV star, who says she's not exploiting her little girls (ya right) is also denying that she back-stabbed her once good friend Heather Locklear, by dating Heather's then husband Richie Sambora.  Plus, there's that whole, 'she's got an entire zoo of animals living at her house' even though she claims she only has a few dogs and cats.  Perhaps she's like Paris and forgets some in a closet now and again?

The It's Complicated E! reality show star wannabe denies cheating with Richie Sambora - she says that they began dating after Heather and Richie broke up, but close friends of Heather say that isn't so.  A pal told The New York Post, "Heather has phone records that prove Denise was calling Richie while Heather was still married to him.

"Heather was such a good friend to Denise.  She gave Denise clothes and offered her a shoulder to cry on when she and [now ex-husband] Charlie [Sheen] split up - there are even photos in the press of Heather taking Denise out after she and Charlie split.  And then a few weeks later - not months - Denise starts dating Richie."

The insider adds, "For Denise to claim that not only did she not initiate contact with Richie but that she and Heather weren't friends for three months before she took up with him, well, that's just absurd and an outright lie.  Denise also claims she's still friends with Richie - which is not true.  He doesn't speak to her at all."

Heather's spokesperson had no comment on the issue.

Denise also has a vague memory on how many pets she actually has.  On her show she says she has five dogs, four cats and three pigs, but yet sources say differently.

"Please - she has over 20 dogs, five cats, three pigs and several guinea pigs.  Her place is like a zoo.  She collects animals."

Richards outright denies such claims, "I will not respond to these tireless rumors. It's such old news.  I will say I have 10 dogs.  Is there a law against having a lot of animals?"  Uh, yes there is Denise, you might want to look into your city (and surronding area) bylaws!

She continues, "My family loves animals, I live on a ranch, and I provide a great environment for them, so I am not sure why there is so much drama about how many animals I have."

I don't know if she's lying or not she totally is but I do know her big mouth often gets her into trouble!  And even if we give her the benefit of the doubt about the time frame of dating Richie Sambora - you just don't date your friend's husband, ex or not - TACKY.

Ah well, if all else fails Denise at least has her "sex appeal and Playboy" to fall back on.
