Rumors are swirling about Yankee star Alex Rodriguez and his wife Cynthia - that both are having affairs or have had affairs in the past - which may include hook-ups with Madonna and Lenny Kravitz. Whether or not these allegations are true, one thing is for sure - the couple are calling it quits - just about three months after the birth of their daughter Ella.
A source told the Daily News that the couple have been having problems for the last few months and that recent "outside distractions" could have been the reason for many things including A-Rod's sports performance. I guess he was putting his efforts elsewhere.
"It's true," said the insider. "They've been having problems for about three months."
Rodriguez, reportedly didn't arrive in Miami until nearly 10 minutes after his wife gave birth to Ella, and then spent just one day with her and their newborn daughter before rejoining the Yankees. (Or Madonna, whichever report you want to go for).
Along with A-Rod's alleged playtime with Madonna, rumors are abundant that Cynthia had her own fun with rocker Lenny Kravitz. However, Cynthia's mother, Evangeline Scurtis, has something to say about that.
"She is not! I know that." She then added, "No comment."
A little FYI, Rodriguez, Madonna and Kravitz all have the same manager - Guy Oseary. Hmm. Quite the threesome - or foursome? Or...nevermind.
It's not certain if the couple will divorce - maybe they can work through their issues. If they do split for good, Cynthia may be entitled to a lot of moola - A-Rod's salary alone is approximately $28 mil, plus endorsements and he owns homes in both New York and Miami.
