Britney Spears usually gets lots of attention no matter where she goes or what kind of situation she's in. Now that she's on the road to recovery, she still gets people talking, but it's not quite as intense as it once was. And with the recent birth of her sister Jamie Lynn's baby, Maddie Briann, it seems that the younger Spears is getting more attention and there's speculation that Jamie Lynn will be a better mother than Britney. Does that upset Brit and make her jealous? Is the big, green eyed monster lurking?
Britney went home to attend the birth of her sister's baby but according to Life & Style an insider said, "She (Britney) couldn't have been in Jamie Lynn's for more than 30 minutes total. She kept going in and then coming out, wandering around. Everyone else couldn't get enough of the baby, but Britney didn't seem interested."
Is Brit threatened by the fact that her baby sister might just be a better mother than she? Possible!
Britney was supposed to stay longer than she did but left on Friday June 20 - the source claims because she couldn't handle staying any longer (but Brit was due in court on Monday, so pick one).
"Britney had every intention of staying through Monday, but she was so emotional, she just had to leave.
"She was very excited at first, but sitting there watching everyone gushing over Jamie Lynn took its toll on her. Seeing Jamie Lynn so happy with her baby reminded Britney that her time with her sons, Sean and Jayden, is so limited now."
Sure, sisters have some competetion going on but to be jealous of your sister and her new baby - seems like a bit much to me, even for Britney.
