Brad Pitt is Grossed Out

Posted by Whit Honea

The Enquirer's Mike Walker is reporting that Angelina Jolie invited her brother James Haven to be in the delivery room when the twins are born and Brad Pitt isn't having it.

Writes Walker, "My spy reports that Brad Pitt recoiled in horror when two in the oven Angie suddenly informed him that...she'd invited her beloved bro' to bear witness with them in the birthing room when the Jolie-Pitt angels touch down on Earth!  Shocked to the core by Angelina's edict, Brad refused - instantly and angrily - triggering a battle royal between the couple, with Angelina insisting that "Uncle Jimmy" should be right there at Ground Zero to experience the emotion of seeing his nieces born, and Brad fuming:  "It's just plain weird and it ain't gonna happen! He can be there, but not in the room!""

Walker says that Angelina eventually let Brad have his way.

I've got two issues with this story, first of all, why does Mike Walker sound like a 1930's newsie?  Second, what the hell was Angelina thinking?  I'm Camp Pitt on this one, that's just gross.

Ah, she's gonna have a c-section.  It takes out the creepy vag issue with your brother watching.  Of course there is still that time she made out with her brother.  OK, I'm grossed out too.

Oh fer cryin out loud. They don't let ANYONE aside from the "partner/spouse" in the operating room with you when you're having a C Section so that story is complete bunk. I've had two of them myself due to med reasons so I know.

And while I'll believe most good celeb news I read, when I read the weird and stupid stuff I don't believe crap. So this guy is a moron for printing that in the first place.

Kristen, yeah, I didn't want to talk about the kissing thing.  It still makes me queasy.

Jen, the problem with that is that a) the Jolie-Pitts of the world get whatever they want, and b) my wife had two C-Sections also, and we were allowed to have myself and her mother in the delivery room, and we could have had another person of our choosing had we wanted- it apparently varies by hospital/state/country/wallet.

My friend just had her baby a couple of months ago and her brother was in the room (and it was a vaginal birth, not a c-section).  He stayed next to her and wasn't interested in checking out the live action down below (though she wouldn't have cared) but she wanted him in there because she doesn't have any other close relatives and she's very close to him.  I don't think that was weird at all.  Way to sexualize the birthing experience folks.
