Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman have lots to smile about. Over the July 4th holiday weekend, Hancock soared to the top of the Box Office Charts, coming away with $66 million.
Despite mixed reviews, the film squashed Disney/Pixar's Wall-E without mercy.
"Audiences
love Will Smith and the characters he plays," Columbia's president of
domestic theatrical distribution Rory Bruer told Variety.
"People want to share in the things he's doing."
