Having twins is a big deal - and the unveiling of the twins' photos is an even bigger deal! Introducing....
Rick Parfitt and wife Lindsay, 47, have released a photo of their miracle IVF babies! The Status Quo rocker and his lovely wife welcomed their babies Tommy Oswald and Lily Rose last month by C-section in Malaga.
Rick, 59, said to Britain's Hello! magazine, "I never thought this would happen to me at nearly 60 - that I would meet, fall in love, marry the girl of my dreams and then have two more beautiful children."
Parfitt has to older children from previous marriages - Richard, 33, and Harry, 19.
He added, "I knew happiness was out there. I just couldn't seem to find it. It's almost as if I've started life again. Of all the things money can buy, nothing can buy you anything as valuable as these kids."
About the twins' names, Lily Rose was named after Rick's mom, and they decided on Tommy for their son, although they considered Max and Zach.
Rick said, "We could have named him after the place he was born, as some people do, but Malaga Parfitt doesn't quite work. I now have three sons - Tom, Dick and Harry. When we realized this we just had to laugh."
Rick's wife Lindsay added, "Tommy was two minutes older than his sister and a bit smaller at 4lbs 20z – she was 4lbs 5oz. Tears were rolling down my cheeks and I was amazed how beautiful they were.
"I never thought I'd be a mum, so I'm, savoring every single moment."
