Having a new baby can be stressful, no doubt about that - but what's happening to this couple?  He went and spent the night in a hotel....

It seems as if though Kerry Katona and husband Mark Croft are not getting along very well of late - the couple have had several major arguments and last week Mark left Kerry and their two kids - Heidi, 2, and Max, 3 months (Molly, 6, and Lilly-Sue, 4, live with their father Brian McFadden), and spent the night in a hotel.

Mark did return the next night and the couple hope to work things out.

Croft's mom Marilyn, had this to say about it to the Sunday People:

"It must have been a huge row for him to have taken them to a hotel.  He and the kids spent the night away from the house but went back the following morning.

"If it was just Kerry and Mark I wouldn't care about their arguments, but it's the kids I worry about."

The couple have been plagued by cheating rumors for months - but both deny such claims.

Well, we'll see what becomes of this very, uh, 'passionate' couple!
