If you're a mom to a daughter, you've seen some of the clothes out there - clothes that maybe a street walker would wear but that no sane mother would let her child put on. What celebrity mom is careful when it comes to her daughters' wardrobes?
Ex-model and Baby Phat designer, Kimora Lee Simmons is very protective of her girls, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5, and refuses to let them wear provocative clothing.
"I would not let my daughters show their midriff," she said this week at the New York City launch of her new juniors line at JCPenney. It was even tough for her to see Ming in her halter dress. "That's a lot for me," she admitted.
"I feel like I've exposed my kids to a lot. We do lead a very high-voltage life so we have to taper back in other ways."
Her boyfriend, actor and model Djimon Honsou feels the same way. "He's very protective of them."
Kimora might be a bit of a diva at airports, but I like her philosophy when it comes to dressing her girls!
