Is Tom Cruise that much of a jerk that he wouldn't allow older kids, Isabella and Connor, to be with their mother Nicole Kidman while she gave birth? Apparently so!
While Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are bathing in the joy of their new daughter, Sunday Rose, Nicole is hurt that her older children were not present for the birth of their sibling.
Nicole had her sister Antonia and mom Janelle present, as well as Keith of course but Nicole really wanted Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, to share in her joy too.
A pal told Now, "The bottom line is that while Nicole really wanted them there, she didn't push for Isabella and Connor to be at the bedside because Tom Cruise wasn't happy about it."
The friend adds, "It’s particularly hurtful because the two kids were at the bedside when Tom’s child Suri by Katie Holmes was born two years ago. Nicole’s putting on a brave face about it all, but she knows that Tom has complicated feelings about the birth because they didn’t have biological kids together and she miscarried shortly after their separation."
It's also hurtful to Nicole that the kids call her Nicole and call Katie 'mom.'
I think Tom should put those kids on a plane right now so they can bond with their new sibling! They've had that opportunity with sister Suri and Sunday Rose deserves the same.
I guess that sending flowers gesture was BS!
