Peaches Geldof stopped breathing and was given mouth-to-mouth after supposedly suffering from a drug overdose, says a friend.

The 19-year-old stopped breathing for several minutes before a friend realised and revived her, Britain's The Sun newspaper reports.

Emergency crews were later called to Peaches' flat in Camden, North London, were they found her unconscious, the report said.

The drama raised worrying memories of her mother Paula Yates death after an overdose in 2000.

London's ambulance service confirmed its crews attended the scene.

Peaches was refusing to talk about the incident, The Sun said,.

Despite the drama, she was well enough to attend last night's London premiere of the new Batman film, The Dark Knight.

Well I hope she is okay.
