Reports of Christian Bale allegedly assaulting his mother and sister seem to be nothing more than drama.
“Christian was stressed, but he didn’t lay a finger on anyone.
Instead, he flew off the handle and cussed his mother. He just got very
loud because his mother was saying some very outrageous things about
him, and his wife,” the source said.
Bale’s lawyers issued a statement Tuesday denying the allegations of assault.
The
actor’s sister, Sharon Bale, told Britain’s Telegraph an “incident” had
occurred but would not offer up any details surrounding the events that
lead to her brother’s arrest.
“OK, there was an incident but the
police are dealing with it,” she said. “It is an extremely sensitive
situation. There is nothing more I can say.”
Jenny Bale was also tight-lipped, but said they did not call the police.
“Yes,
I was there, and yes there was a family situation, but the police are
handling it and I cannot say anymore at the moment,” Jenny told the
Telegraph. “We didn’t call the police to the scene. I can’t say
anymore, but we didn’t call the police.”
Thank goodness.
