Britney Spear has been getting her life back - more visitation with her boys, more time in the studio, perhaps even a return to the VMA show - and hard to miss, is her bangin' bod. So exactly how does she get to look like that after having two kids in a short period of time? She has a secret....
....and it's called a lot of money! Seriously - the poptart reportedly spends up to $22,000 per month to look that good. Brit has lost about 14 pounds so far and is on a 1400 calorie a day diet with a 'cheat day' where she will allow herself a treat.
Spears spends about ten grand a month on a nutrionist and diet supplements, as well as $8,000 on a personal trainer and another four thousand on a private dance choreographer.
A pal says, "She limits herself to 1400 calories a day with one 'cheat day' where she'll treat herself. She also changed the way she eats, trying to have only two thirds of what is on her plate.
"It's all about portion control and fresh food now. And lots of water in place of Red Bull."
Brit has also been taking diet tips from Victoria Beckham - eating lots of steamed veggies and fish and snacking on edamame beans. She sweats her butt off working with personal trainer to the Pussycat Dolls, James Van Daff and also spends about three hours a day, six days a week dancing.
The source added to Closer mag, "Britney piled on a lot of weight earlier this year. She was so stressed about the custody case and her medication for her bipolar disorder also made her put on weight. She was tired of being flabby and wanted to do something about it."
The friend added, "Britney is so proud of herself because her ab muscles are back. She's feeling better than she has in ages."
Whatever she's doing (spending), it looks like it's working!
