Did you hear that? It's the sound of millions of pre-teen girls crying at the news that Miley Cyrus' popular Hannah Montana series may be coming to an end. E! Online reported that Cyrus blurted out in an interview, "We're thinking this may be our last season," after which her rep quickly stepped in with, "We do not know if this is the last season."
Cyrus explained that she's been on the popular show longer than viewers might realize: she was 11 when it started and she turns 16 in November. But Cyrus is adamant that any changes would not be a result of her trying to distance herself from her Disney "family."
"I'm still with my family," she says. "You know, they're safe. They always feel like home. And that's what I love about the company. They are family."
With all the scandals Cyrus has generated lately, it seems like the teen star is sending signals that she's ready to move on.
