I'm not sure what Steve Carell won an award for. Teh internets iz hard.
I do know that Carell is a worth award winner, as he seems to be a first class guy and a great dad.
Have you seen Dan in Real Life? I didn't think much about it until I was forced to watch it one night- it's great. Basically, Carell plays a widowed father of 3 girls and heartfelt hilarity ensues- plus the soundtrack is awesome.
That's a good reason for a surfboard.
