Jessica Simpson took a pregnancy test - and got a positive result!
According to the National Inquirer, the 28-year-old singer was so excited after receiving a positive pregnancy test result, she and boyfriend Tony Romo went immediately to his parents home to share the good news. However, that good news was short lived because when Jess went to see her doctor soon after, she learned she was not pregnant. And according to a source, Tony's family was "floored" by the initial pregnancy news.
"There was a huge fight on July 18 at the Romo home. Jessica and Tony thought she was pregnant and happily announced it to the family.
"The news resulted in dead silence. Then Tony's dad Ramiro said, 'You're not married, this is crazy!' Tony's mom added, 'How can you do this to us?'"
Simpson's rep said she is not pregnant but friend say differently - that she is "feverishly trying to conceive."
And while this whole thing could be bunk ('cause celebrity gossip is often gossip! gasp!), I do know firsthand that you can get a false positive on a pregnancy test - been there, done that.
Maybe Jessica and baby sister Ashlee will be having babies together!
