Actress Christina Applegate was diagnosed with breast cancer, and although she went public with the news, she didn't want to. However, there were rumors about certain decisions she was making that just weren't true and she wanted people to know the real story. Star magazine claimed that the 36-year-old was putting off chemotherapy because she wanted to get pregnant....
....but that's not the case. Christina recently appeared on Good Morning America, and spoke with Robin Roberts:
"She wanted to dispel some false reporting that was out there. She wasn’t really ready to go public yet. But there was some false reporting that was out that she was going to undergo chemotherapy, which she is not. There were other false reports saying that she was putting off chemotherapy to start a family, that she wanted to get pregnant. She does want to have a family one day, but that is not the reason she made her choice.”
Christina decided to have a double mastectomy and is, thankfully, cancer free!
