Angelina Jolie is reaching out again. Her new found motherhood over the last few years has kicked her motherly instinct into overdrive. She is now reaching out to Kate and Gerry McCann who's daughter Maddie has been missing since last year. She wants to meet the family of the little girl and offer her support. Her latest movie The Changeling she plays the mother of a missing child who becomes the focus of a massive FBI search.
While filming the movie Angelina reached out to mothers, in Vermont and California, that have missing children.
A friend of Angelina's said, "She was intensely moved by their strength and hope, despite their despair. I think Angie just wants to give Kate a hug and say a few words of
support from one mom to another. She doesn’t pretend she possibly knows how Kate feels but she does
have an inkling now and she realises the absolute nightmare the McCann
family is going through.”
She wants to meet with the family before the premier of The Changeling in Novembe, whether it's to give Kate a hug or just be a silent supporter.
There have been multiple reports of sightings of Maddie. We hope she is found soon and that her parents never give up hope.
