Good to know that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins, Knox and Vivienne, aren't just lazing around and sponging off of their celebrity parents. I mean, come on, they're heading to their 2-month-old mark and I'd like to think they're doing their part for society.
With their debut on People magazine cover, the Brangelina twins (am I allowed to say Brangelina?) could make magazine history (fabulous!). The issue, which shows the proud parents and twins (one smiling - fake smiling of course), is projected to sell 2.6 millon copies which is more than the usual newsstand sales of 1.5 million copies. But that's not all!
The Brangelina issue could become the biggest seller in seven years (SEVEN!!) and the fourth largest seller in the 35 year history of People mag. But that's not all!
As well, putting the earnings from the 1.1 million extra copies sold aside, People will probably get some extra coin from their website with increased ad revenues from all the Brangelina fan traffic. People.com, which averages 8.8 million unique visitors a month, received SIX MILLION unique visitors in the first 24 hours of Knox and Viv photos appearing on the site. Way to go twins!
Hey, maybe that $14 million that People dished out, was worth it?
