What's with the celebrity crashes lately? Wow! Barenaked Ladies singer Ed Robertson has been involved in a plane crash!!
The singer's float-plane crashed north of Bancroft, Ontario, Canada, on Sunday. He survived!!
Adam Smith, rep for the band said, "Everyone is fine and that is the most important thing. That's all the comment we have at this time." It's believed that Ed was the one flying the plane when it crashed.
A police rep had this to say:
"At 12:30 p.m. a Cessna 206 was taking off from Baptiste Lake, lost airspeed and entered a wooded area west of the lake"
The plane was totaled and the four adults on board walked away mostly unharmed and reported the crash. Now those are some lucky folks!
Ed Robertson is married to Natialie and is a dad to Hannah, 12, Lyle, 9, and Arden, 6. I bet his family are so grateful and relieved tonight!
