Several weeks ago, Hayden Paniettiere's inebriated father, Alan, was arrested and held on $50,000 bond for allegedly striking his drunken wife in the face for allegedly flirting with other men. Now Hayden, star of "Heroes" and a brand-new 19 year-old, says it was much ado about nothing.
She told Extra TV, "It was blown way out of proportion by a sheriff who wanted his fifteen minutes of fame. My family is wonderful -- so very happy. We're all great."
In other words, Alan didn't smack his wife, Lesley, in the face. He punched her in the crotch.
