Is Vin Diesel going soft? Maybe, but it's for all the right reasons. The 41-year-old star of the upcoming "Babylon A.D." has been a daddy since April. He and his girlfriend, 24-year-old model Paloma Jimenez, have a baby daughter and Vin couldn't be happier. Hell, I'd be happy, too, if I had a 24-year-old girlfriend.
Vin says, "Everything that I've done up until this point is insignificant in comparison to being a father."
Course, Vin is no stranger to changing diapers, anyway. He is the oldest child in his family and did a lot of nannying for his younger siblings growing up. And he got quite a workout filming "The Pacifier" a few years back. All that seemed to prepare him for fatherhood.
In fact, he says, "I want 12 kids!" Whew! Careful what you wish for, dude.
Babylon, A.D., opens in theaters this Friday. Word on the street, at least according to Rotten Tomatoes, is it sucks. Like hard. But hey, it's a Vin Diesel movie. OK, that's not fair. "Pitch Black" rocked. "Chronicles of Riddick," though? So horrible it makes "House Bunny" look like a masterwork.
