Shut up! Britney Spears and Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps together? For realz? Yes!!
Apparently the two are going to be presenting an award together at the MTV VMAs next week. There were rumors that the once troubled popstar was going to perform but her manager has since denied it, saying that Brit is too busy working on her new album.
However, it's been reported that Spears and Phelps will both be there on the September 8 show. Britney has also been nominated for her single Piece Of Me, so another reason for her to make an appearance.
Britney is working with legendary producer, Rodney Jenkins. Jenkins said of Spears, "I've always worked with Britney andn I love working with her. I'm trying to reinvent her and reinvent myself for her project, and stuff we did for her is very dancy, really uptempo. In the clubs, real aggressive, and catchy. Very hook friendly."
Jenkins added, that Spears is in a very "positive" frame of mind right now.
That's good news for her fans and her children!
