Limp Bizkit lead singer, and now director of the film The Longshots, Fred Durst is a caring, sensitive dad, who wants to make sure his children have a solid role model.
Durst understands what it's like not having a role model while growing up and it's his goal to make sure his kids have a different experience. He said, "I definitely broke the cycle with my children, one hundred percent," laughing, adding, "I think I'm going extremely the other way!"
Fred continued, "You know, sometimes to break the cycle I might overdo it a little bit, but I know how sensitive I was. [I know] how I just sometimes needed to be able to cry, or to be able to be someone who needed somebody to hug him or to understand him, or hear him out and listen to him. I never want to have my children to ever experience not having that."
Wow, who knew that bad boy Fred Durst was such an insightful dad? I think I might be impressed. Fred's kids are Adriana, 17, (mom is Rachel Tergesen) and Dallas, 7, (mom is Jennifer Thayer).
