Pete Wentz says he is taking it one day at a time. He's getting ready to be a dad by baby-proofing the house and painting the nursery.
The couple decided not to find out the sex of the baby because those are the best kinds of surprises, the ones that there are so few of.
He's not discussing the theme of the nursery because it's private, plus, maybe they'll get more money for pictures if they hold out and make it an exclusive.

Ashlee is due around the end of October, so they have a couple of months to get it all done.
Will they be like the rest of us that procrastinate for so long, that they finally just set up a bassinet next to the bed so the baby has somewhere to sleep, and deal with the rest later?
