Gorgeous Angela Bassett, new star of ER's final season (premiering Thursday, Sept 25), is not only the chief of the ER, but she's chief at home, too. Her and hubby, Courtney Vance of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent), are parents to beautiful 2-year-old twins, Bronwyn and Slater.
Yes, Vance is a great daddy. He changes the diapers and prepares meals for the kids. And trust me, you change a TON of diapers with twins. The problem is that raising twins is exhausting for the most energetic of parents. But Angela is 50 and Courtney is 48 and they both have grueling television schedules.
Making private time for husband and wife ain't easy under those circumstances. Says Angela, "He and I are trying to figure out how to do this 'date night' thing you hear tell about. I'm too tired to be planning date nights. I just wanna sit on the couch!"
Can't say as I blame you, Angela. I doubt anyone in the world could.
