Sarah Palin's Husband Arrested For DUI

The Palin family sure has the internet buzzing - past beauty pageants, hunting, pregnancies and/or fake pregnancies - busy family!  And Todd Palin has that little DUI under his belt....

Not long after the announcement that Sarah Palin's 17-year-old daugther, Bristol, is pregnant, came word that Palin's husband, Todd, was arrested for a DUI.

Now, mind you, this was back in 1986, and reportedly while driving a snowmobile, but still, drunk driving, is drunk driving.  According to CBN news, Palin was dating Sarah at the time of the incident, in Dillingham, Alaska.  No report of an accident or any injuries.  Just the drunk part.

A source said that Tod was "forthcoming about the situation and indicated it was a lesson learned [when] he was younger."

Sarah recently said to an interviewer that she had no idea what a Vice President actually does.  Good job John McCain!!  Uh, good luck?

Yes I do "Nunya." A VP is second in command of the executive branch of the United States government.  The VP is the President of the USA SENATE, and although they don't really control anything in the senate, they will be called on to "tie-break" should there be a deadlock on a vote in the senate over any particular issue.  The VP oversees procedural issues, they are called on to do other tasks that the president deems necessary, will preside over in an impeachment trial (if the impeachement is NOT that of the president), will represent the president to foreign governments if asked and obviously if the president should die or resign, be impeached etc, the VP is sworn in to take his place. There are other "tasks" of the VP but I've given the basic run-down and pretty damn good for a Canadian chick.  Apparently I know more than Palin in that regard.
