Shooter Jennings and Drea de Matteo welcomed Alabama Gypsyrose, to their family 9 months ago, and Shooter says it's made him a different man.
He wants what we all want, a better world for our kids. He is trying to do his part, he's trying to reflect those desires in the music he's making these days.
He says, "I've got a shorter fuse now because I want my daughter to grow up in a
better world. I want people to stand up for themselves and what they believe in, and that's reflected in my music."
That's a nice legacy to leave for his daughter. Positive reinforcement, and the power to make her own decisions is a great gift for any child. Let's hope she always treasures that, and doesn't have realize it in hindsight.
