Alec Baldwin would probably poke my eyes out for even suggesting a reconciliation would ever happen, considering how much he still despises Kim Basinger. Good thing he doesn't know me from Eve!
He actually talked a little about her in an upcoming interview with The New Yorker.
It's apparent to the rest of us that read about what happened when they split up, the fights, the name calling, and the screaming at each other that they both were at fault for the split. However, this was his interview, so it was his side of things that we read about.
He say's that though they have been apart for years Kim still tries to turn his daughter from him all the time. "Parental alienation is about people who narcissistically project their whole reality onto a child: 'I don't need you, so the child doesn't need you.' The goal of the alienating parent is to kill contiguous time. People need reliability. They need regularity. And I've been the victim of a campaign to kill all that. You wind up being more an uncle than a father."
I feel for him, I feel for her, I couldn't imagine being a part time parent it must be so difficult. I think I would die a little every day that my kids were away.
P.S. I love "30 Rock".
